The ‘Easy Maintenance Model Training Tool’ or EMMTT for short, is a portable, life-size conveyor model specifically designed to train maintenance staff on-site.

WHAT IS THE EMMTT?

The EMMTT is a full-scale conveyor model that incorporates all components of the conveyor transfer specific to your site, including idlers, skirts and liners, dust-covers, guards and/or chutes. The EMMTT is housed in a sea container, making it transportable, protected and safe. The EMMTT is fixed to the sea container which includes sliding doors that can be secured; this allows for safe and simple transport to site.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Once the custom ordered EMMTT is complete, H & B staff can provide a demonstration to key maintenance staff. This can happen at the workshop in Perth, or H&B staff can be available to provide initial training on-site.

Once the EMMTT is on-site, previously trained maintenance staff can provide on-site demonstration to other maintenance personnel before shutdown occurs. Staff will be prepared and skilled to perform conveyor maintenance as soon as shutdown begins. Maintenance staff will be better trained and empowered to perform maintenance tasks, resulting in safer and more productive transfer points.
