Customised H & B conveyor transfer products have coupled with educated and competent people in maintenance and standardised conveyor practices in a new collaboration between H & B Mining and Breight Group.
H & B Mining are specialist in manufacturing ‘Easy Maintenance’ conveyor products. H & B specialise in customised solutions for conveyor upgrades and new conveyor transfer design with safety, maintainability and productivity at the core of all designs. H & B Mining have been delivering easy maintenance conveyor products to the Australian mining industry and the world for over 25 years.
Breight Group has evolved from Pilbara Access with an established reputation in the provision of Access, now also providing Mechanical and Renewable services underpinned with Specific Industry Education to the resources and renewables industries.
Breight Group have industry trained and competent people in standardised maintenance practices to install and maintain H & B Products. H & B Mining and Breight Group’s skilled teams have an in-depth understanding of what’s required to work in the mining and resource sector, the education packages have been developed in collaboration of both businesses.
The partnership culminates at the Breight Group training facility in Perth where H & B’s ‘life size’ conveyor model incorporating hinged dust covers, DILO conveyor guards, segmented conveyor skirts, retractable conveyor idlers and easy maintenance skirting systems is housed. Skilled personnel can demonstrate the functionality of H & B’s easy maintenance conveyor products where ‘seeing is believing’. The purpose-built training facility is used to train personnel in conveyor maintenance skills.
This new alliance between Breight Group and H & B Mining has already seen engineers interested in how the H & B conveyor products work meet with managing director Eddy Hodgkinson at Breight group. The group was able to watch expert personnel demonstrate the suite of products on the conveyor model and discuss solutions with Eddy.
“This is a great opportunity to maximise the utility of the H & B Mining products such as the segmented conveyor skirt or the eco-light skirt liner, which are standard across some of the big iron-ore mines in the Pilbara. Personnel trained in the maintenance of our specific products will enhance the safety, maintainability and overall productivity of the conveyor transfer,” explained Eddy.
