The EMRI idler design provides a safe, simple and quick method of changing out ALL conveyor rollers, including the central roller, from outside of the conveyor manually.

The wing roller support frames can be released from their operational position and lowered down to a horizontal static position. Once the wing support frames have been lowered, the wing rollers can easily be removed. With the wing support frames lowered and wing rollers removed, the idler frame can be retracted manually to allow access to the central roller for maintenance.

At each stage of roller maintenance H & B’s Roller Removal Tool is used to remove and replace rollers.
